Website Terms of Use

Scope

These terms govern your use of the cedarplanters.nl website. They are separate from our Terms of Sale, which govern any purchase you make. Where the two conflict in relation to a purchase, the Terms of Sale prevail, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.

Intellectual property

All text, images, marks, logos, designs and other content on this site belong to Cedar Planters Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not copy, republish or exploit them commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully. Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, deceptive or infringing; do not upload malicious code; do not attempt to gain unauthorised access; do not use the site to send unsolicited advertising. We may remove content that breaches this clause and, where necessary, suspend access to the site.

Reviews and user content

If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is your own honest opinion based on genuine experience, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it in connection with the product. We may decline to publish content that breaches the acceptable-use clause. We do not delete or suppress negative reviews on the basis that they are negative.

Availability

We try to keep the site available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may suspend it for maintenance. Content on the site is provided for information; we take reasonable care but do not warrant that every detail is free from error.

Third-party links

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Governing law

These Website Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or Switzerland, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and any dispute relating to a purchase is governed by our Terms of Sale instead.
